Marsden & The Colne Valley
River Colne Sculpture TrailSpot the 15 sculptured items between Huddersfield and Marsden! Walk moves from a distinctly urban context to become increasingly rural/’villagey’ and eventually the dramatic moors. As a linear walk it should take around 3 hours, not including returning to points to meet vehicles or public transport. The sculpture trail uses the canal towpath as a backbone for a number of short circular walks along public footpaths. You can visit either a small part of the trail or all of it in one go - if you're feeling ambitious! The trail runs between Milnsbridge and Marsden. Or for a downhill route, do it from Marsden to Milnsbridge!
