IDEAS AND FEATURES

This website is new. It's a great project. We aim to build the site until it is a really comprehensive directory of walking, cycling and riding routes in the South Pennines. We need your help to do this as you are the one's out there walking, cycling and riding in our glorious Pennine landscape.

We would ultimately like to feature particularly special walks and rides on these pages. They might be special because of their views at a certain time of year, or because of the wildlife flora and fauna that can be seen in a particular season, or because communities along the route have local events and celebrations that can be visited along the route.

Do you have any suggestions for featured routes that you would like to tell us about? Do you ride a regular route which other people might enjoy? Do you know routes which are gate free or have horsebox parking facilities? Are there particular pubs wherre your horses are welcome? Let us know and we will publicise it on these pages.
